On December 13th and 14th turns the old prison of Leeuwarden into a Christmas market. With live music, a food square, a Christmas area for kids and sixty stallholders the 12th edition of the Christmas market in Blokhuispoort promises to be a big success!

There will be more than 60 small entrepreneurs standing with their products on the Christmas market. They will be selling special product with a lot of diversity. There also will be a food square. Winter snacks, waffles and gluhwein are the stars of the food square. For the children there will be a special area where you can enjoy free rides!

There is not only time to shop, but you can also participate in a Christmas bingo with amazing prizes. Dancing to live DJ sets brings the Christmas market to life: festive vibes guaranteed!
