Wheelchair accessible rooms

Notiz Hotel has two wheelchair-accessible rooms: a Junior Suite and a Comfort Room (twin). The spacious rooms have an adapted bathroom, including a shower chair, toilet with armrests and an alarm cord. The Comfort Twin also has an adjustable mirror.

If you travel with a carer, we recommend booking the family apartment. This is the wheelchair-accessible Junior Suite with a connecting door to a Comfort Room. 

The availability of wheelchair-accessible rooms is limited and can only be booked via email or phone (+31 58 3030800).

Frequently asked questions

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in starts at 2:00 PM, and check-out is by 11:00 AM. 

When arriving before 2:00 PM the hotel can not guarantee an earlier check-in. We can place the luggage in a secured room and return it to you at check-in.

 
Can I park at the hotel?

Yes – free on-site parking is available in front of the hotel. Please note that the number of spaces is limited and cannot be reserved in advance. Please see the map below:

If the parking area in front of the hotel is full, guests can make use of the additional parking area behind the hotel, which is available at a rate of €3.50 per day. Directions to the rear parking can be provided at the Front Office. Please follow the directions to the car park on the map below:

Can an extra bed be added to my room?

Notiz Hotel has 2 Junior Suites that can accommodate an extra bed for €15 per night.

Children's beds (3 years and under) are provided free of charge in all hotel rooms. 
Are pets allowed at Notiz Hotel?

Only assistance dogs are permitted; other pets are not allowed. 
Do you offer bike rental services?

Yes, we offer a limited number of bikes for rent at €7.50 per bike per day, and there’s secure storage available. 

You can contact our Reservations department to register for bike rental via: +31 583 030 800 or info@notizhotel.com . You can also go to the hotel reception to book a bike rental. 
Can I get to Notiz Hotel using public transportation?

Yes, Notiz Hotel is accessible by public transport. On weekdays, the most convenient option is Bus 10, which departs regularly from Leeuwarden Central Station and stops right in front of Notiz Hotel. This bus line provides an easy and frequent way to reach Notiz Hotel from the train station.

Can I cancel or change my reservation free of charge?

Yes. Guests can choose between different rate types when booking. Our flexible rate allows free cancellation or changes until 12:00 noon on the day before arrival. Our prepaid rate includes a 10% discount and cannot be cancelled or modified.
