Cancellation policy

Dear Guests,

By making a reservation at Notiz Hotel and Restaurant Wannee, you agree to the Uniform Conditions for the Catering Industry 2024. (Uniform Conditions for the Hotel and Catering Industry- English) and our non-smoking policy, which applies to all our facilities. Violations of this policy may result in a fine. Reservations for an overnight stay can only be made by adults (18 years or older). Minors are only allowed to stay when accompanied by an adult.

Use of the facilities and your stay at Notiz Hotel, Restaurant Wannee, and NHL Stenden is at your own risk.

Uniform conditions

Hotel Rooms

Non-Refundable Rates For non-refundable reservations, including all packages, 100% of the reserved value plus the municipal tourist tax (current rate €1.65 per person per night) will be charged to the provided credit card on the day the reservation is made. In case of cancellation or modification, the full amount of the reservation including the tourist tax will be charged as cancellation fees.

Flexible Rates Reservations on a flexible basis, including all packages, can be cancelled free of charge until 12:00 PM on the day before the arrival date. In case of cancellation after 12:00 PM on the day before the arrival date and no-show, 100% of the reserved amount for the first night and tourist tax will be charged as cancellation fees.

Group Reservations (5 rooms or more)

· For cancellations and/or modifications more than 3 months prior to the reserved date, no fees will be charged.

· For cancellations and/or modifications more than 2 months prior to the reserved date, 15% of the reserved value will be charged.

· For cancellations and/or modifications more than 1 month prior to the reserved date, 35% of the reserved value will be charged.

· For cancellations and/or modifications more than 14 days prior to the reserved date, 60% of the reserved value will be charged.

· For cancellations and/or modifications more than 7 days prior to the reserved date, 85% of the reserved value will be charged.

· For cancellations and/or modifications less than 7 days prior to the reserved date, 100% of the reserved value will be charged.

Group Reservations must be paid in advance:

· 30 days prior to the reserved date, 35% of the reserved value must be prepaid.

· 7 days prior to the reserved date, 85% of the reserved value must be prepaid.

· In case of cancellation less than 7 days prior to the reserved date or no-show, 100% of the reserved amount will be charged as cancellation fees.

Exceptions When exceptions to the cancellation policy apply, this will be stated in the reservation confirmation.

Meeting Rooms For meeting room reservations, the following cancellation policy applies:

· For cancellations more than 14 days prior to the reservation date, no cancellation fees are charged.

· For cancellations 14 to 8 days prior to the reservation date, 50% of the reserved value will be charged.

· For cancellations 7 to 3 days prior to the reservation date, 75% of the reserved value will be charged.

· For cancellations less than 3 days prior to the reservation date, 100% of the reserved value will be charged.

The allocation of meeting rooms is provisional and Notiz Hotel reserves the right to change the allocation of meeting rooms at any time. The mentioned quantities for the various items are indicative. The final amounts will be calculated based on consumption. Notiz Hotel reserves the right to adjust their prices without notice.

Restaurant & Bar Wannee Group reservations from eight persons for Restaurant Wannee are subject to the following cancellation policy:

When a menu has been agreed:

· For cancellations more than 7 days prior to the reserved date, no cancellation fees are charged.

· For cancellations 7 to 3 days prior to the reservation, 50% of the reserved value will be charged.

· For cancellations 3 days to 1 day before the reservation, 75% of the reserved value will be charged.

· For cancellations within 24 hours of the reservation, 100% of the reserved value will be charged.

When no menu has been agreed:

· For cancellations more than 48 hours prior to the reservation, no cancellation fees are charged.

· For cancellations less than 48 hours prior to the reservation, 50% of the reservation value will be charged, based on the agreed menu price per person.

Lower attendance than the reserved number of persons: If the number of attendees is lower than the reserved number, the last known number of persons communicated at least 24 hours before the reserved date and time will be charged, with a maximum deviation of up to 10%.

Individual guests (1 to 7 people) In the event of a no-show, the reserved value or at least €30.00 will be charged.

Special Circumstances In the event that an event or special activity, such as the Elfstedentocht, takes place during the period of your reservation in our hotel, we reserve the right to move the reservation to another suitable date for you.
