During the renovation, which was finished in November 2020, we made our hotel as sustainable as possible. We have installed water-saving shower heads and faucets in all of our rooms. Moreover, our wooden interior is crafted from Frisian oak, a sustainable and responsibly sourced wood, ensuring a warm and inviting ambiance for our guests. By choosing these sustainable materials, we prioritize both guest comfort and environmental well-being.

Our commitment to sustainability extends to the products we offer. If you enter our cozy lobby, the smell of fresh coffee already greets you. Notiz Hotel partners with Peeze, Netherlands' only coffee refinery that supplies 100% certified coffee in a climate-neutral manner. This means you can enjoy Fairtrade tea, coffee, sugar, and milk creamer, knowing that their choices align with ethical and eco-conscious values. Spend the night in our soft bed linen from the Pure Eco-Line by Blycolin, which meets the highest global organic textile standards. When you enter our bathrooms to take a shower after a good night of sleep, you will find Loofy's ecological soap and shampoo, created from natural products for an eco-friendly showering experience. Through these eco-friendly measures, we strive to reduce our environmental impact. 

During your stay at Notiz Hotel, you can actively contribute to our sustainability efforts. To have a positive impact on the environment, we kindly ask you to reuse your towels. This small gesture significantly reduces water consumption and energy usage. For guests staying multiple nights, we offer the "Hotel for Trees" initiative. By hanging the provided sign on your doorknob, we will skip cleaning your room and plant one tree on your behalf.
